Ed.S. in Adult Education

The specialist program builds upon the adult education master’s degree programs. The program will enhance your skills as a practicing educational professional within adult education settings. We focus on the development and application of inquiry skills at the advanced graduate level of study, combined with existing experience and continued study of adult education.

This program is offered on campus and online.

 

Degree Overview

Coursework - 30 credit hours

With just 3 required courses, this is a very flexible program.  There are many options to create a set of courses that best meet your learning needs. Most students distribute their courses according to the following:

REQUIRED COURSES – 12 HRS

  • Field Project - 6 hrs

  • Practicum - 3 hrs

  • Design and Analysis I - 3 hrs

CORE COURSES – 18 HRS

Consult with your advisor to determine the best 18 hours to take.
