Short Bio

Jesús A. Tirado is an Assistant Professor at Auburn University. His research interrogates the different ways that we experience citizenship and citizenship education through encounters with curriculum and pedagogy. His work has appeared in the Journal of Social Studies Research, Association of Mexican American Educators Journal, Social Studies Education Review, Social Education along with the book Latinx Curriculum Theory.
