Short Bio

Dr. Strutchens is nationally and internationally known in the field of mathematics education. She leads the Mathematics Teacher Education Partnership’s Clinical Experiences Research Action Cluster and is a member of the leadership team. Additionally, she is chair of the Advisory Committee for NSF’s Directorate for STEM Education. She was a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Board of Directors (2015 -2018) and the Executive Board of Directors of the Conference Board of Mathematical Sciences (2012 -2014) and president of the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators [AMTE] (2011 - 2013). She received AMTE’s Judith Jacobs Lectureship in 2017.
