Short Bio
Dr. C. Brooks Mobley is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Kinesiology at Auburn University. He teaches many of the course in the Exercise Science and Exercise Performance & Health Optimization curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate level. Dr. Mobley's research focuses on to better understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms that are involved in the regulation of skeletal muscle plasticity, structure, and function in response to exercise training and physical activity. In addition, his research includes better understanding the ergogenic effects of sports supplements on exercise performance.
Professional & Educational Experience
Dr. Mobley received his B.S. in Animal & Dairy Sciences from Auburn University. Also, he received his graduate education at Auburn University, where he earned an M.Ed. in Exercise Physiology and a Ph.D. in Kinesiology. Dr. Mobley went on to complete a postdoctoral appointment at the University of Kentucky in the College of Medicine. Dr. Mobley has worked as a faculty member at Auburn University since 2021, and currently serves at the Director of the TigerFit Health & Fitness Laboratory and is the Associate Director of the Nutrabolt Applied and Molecular Physiology Lab.
