Short Bio

For 38 years, I devoted my career to supporting children and families as an educator and counselor. I worked in three roles—mental health counselor, special education teacher, and school counselor—serving students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. After retiring, I moved from Nashville to Opelika, where my wife and I now live with our two energetic young doodles. I stay active in my church and enjoy teaching Sunday School to fourth graders. Outside of community life, I’m a master scuba diver with nearly 500 dives completed around the world.
