Engagement

Dr. Wadsworth's outreach activities aim to provide exercise opportunities for members of the community. In general, these activities consist of assessment assistance (e.g. motor skill and fitness assessment for children), delivery of physical activity programming (e.g. faculty staff fitness programs) or physical activity lectures or demonstrations. The outcomes of these programs include: reduction in health care costs, higher quality of health, reduced injury, early identification of children who are at high risk, and generate interest in our research initiatives. She is looking for additional collaborators within the community, particularly those that serve young children.
