
Short Bio
Dr. Shana Carter is an Assistant Clinical Professor for the Auburn Physical Therapy Program. She joined the Auburn Physical Therapy Team in January 2025. She is an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist with an extensive background in rural health care, acute care, orthopedics and traveling physical therapy. During her time working as a traveling provider she focused on proving health care services to very rural and underserved communities across the United States. She was also a private practice owner with both brick and motor clinics as well as a cash-based clinic providing mobile health services to her community.
