Short Bio

Preston Sparks is the director of communications and marketing for Auburn University’s College of Education. Sparks has 25 years of experience in communications and marketing. Before Auburn, Sparks served in various marketing roles in the education sector as Director of Marketing at the University of South Carolina Aiken and as Communications Director for a private school in Augusta, Georgia. Prior to that, Sparks worked for 13 years in the field of journalism as a reporter, bureau chief and editor for the second largest newspaper in Georgia—The Augusta Chronicle.
