Short Bio

With a Ph.D. in Career and Technical Education from Auburn University and a proven record of success in educational leadership and program development, I bring a strategic and student-centered approach to every role I take on. I am proud to serve as a Lecturer at Auburn University, where I teach advanced Microsoft Excel techniques to business and education majors in preparation for the Microsoft Excel Expert certification. My work bridges practical skill-building with real-world application, helping students thrive both academically and professionally. Prior to moving into higher education, I served as CTAE Department Head at Carrollton High School, where I was a part of the school leadership team and an Aspiring Leaders candidate for the district. I led the development of the Marketing Management Pathway at Alexander High School, earning Industry Certification and launching a thriving DECA chapter that grew into the school’s largest co-curricular student organization. I also successfully established and managed a profitable School-Based Enterprise while mentoring students to success at the state and national levels.
