Short Bio
Dr. Christine Drew is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral (BCBA-D). Before earning her Ph.D., Dr. Drew taught in a middle school behavior program in Texas for five years. Dr. Drew is interested in challenging behavior, sexuality and relationship education, and working with parents to support young adults with IDD. When she isn’t teaching, conducting research, or serving the citizens of Alabama through outreach projects, Dr. Drew is usually spending time in her garden, suggesting new recipes for her partner Craig to make, playing with her dog Mick, and watching very useless television shows.
Professional Experience
Dr. Drew earned her B.A. in economics with a minor in secondary social studies education from University of Texas, her M.Ed. in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Texas State University, and her Ph.D. from the University of Oregon. Dr. Drew received her certification in behavior analysis (BCBA) in 2015 and her doctoral level certification (BCBA-D) in 2019. Dr. Drew has served as an Assistant Professor at Auburn since 2019, the EAGLES Program Faculty Research Advisor since 2020, and the Graduate Transition Certificate Program Coordinator since 2022. Dr. Drew is on the editorial board for the Journal of Positive Behavior Interventions.
