Brian E. McCabe, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in Alabama, Associate Professor and Director of Practicum Training in Counseling Psychology in the Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation, and Counseling at Auburn University. Dr. McCabe is the Director of the Eco-developmental Prevention, Intervention, and Consultation (EPIC) Lab. His clinical research uses an eco-developmental perspective to investigate brief interventions to reduce or prevent mental disorders, substance use, and other related conditions. Dr. McCabe has taught courses in assessment, psychotherapy practice and theory, research design and methods, scientific writing,and history of psychology.
