Short Bio
Dr. Bailing Lyu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Foundations, Leadership, and Technology in Auburn University’s College of Education. Her research examines how artificial intelligence, digital learning environments, and instructional design can support students’ engagement, learning processes, and academic outcomes. Her work draws on educational psychology, learning sciences, and learning analytics, with particular interests in generative AI in education, learning from multiple resources, STEM learning, and quantitative research methods. Dr. Lyu teaches courses in educational research design and data analysis. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and previously completed postdoctoral research at the University of Utah.
