Auburn’s Ph.D. program in early childhood education prepares you for success in several career paths. Our graduates work as university faculty, curriculum supervisors, and leaders in early childhood education. Our program focuses on social constructivist theory and practice. Through coursework and faculty mentorship, you’ll develop knowledge and research skills for success. You’ll complete your degree with independent research resulting in your dissertation.
Ph.D. programs are not part of the Auburn University approved Educator Preparation Programs. The state of Alabama does not have certification/license at this level and therefore this degree is not eligible for reciprocity in other states.
