Inaugural PT students take next step with white coat ceremony

The inaugural cohort of Auburn University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy students took a major step in their educational journey Friday with the program’s first White Coat Ceremony, sponsored by East Alabama Health. The event, which involved 21 physical therapy students receiving white coats, marks the transition from learning in the classroom to applying that knowledge during clinical rotations that will begin this summer.
