Mission Statement
The EAGLES Engagement Council (EEC) connects the EAGLES program with campus, community, and other stakeholders through advocacy, fundraising, and strategic partnerships. By fostering relationships that promote employment, independent living, and lifelong connection, the EEC champions the success of students with intellectual disabilities. In alignment with the College of Education’s mission and Auburn University’s commitment to excellence, integrity, and respect, the EEC works collaboratively to create opportunities, expand access, and support every EAGLES student to thrive at Auburn University and beyond.
Purpose Statement
The EEC fosters meaningful connections between EAGLES students, their families, Auburn faculty/staff, alumni, and the broader community. Members serve as ambassadors who invest their time, talents, and financial support to enhance the visibility and sustainability of the EAGLES Program. Through signature events, partnerships, and outreach, they strengthen community among stakeholders, build lasting bonds with families, and encourage continued advocacy and investment in the EAGLES Program, the College of Education, and Auburn University.
