Praxis II Assessment

The Praxis II Assessment series consists of content and pedagogical-specific tests based on your certification program. Students must pass all Praxis II assessments for their program before clinical residency. Test takers can examine the dates when the tests are offered and register. Test takers may also want to examine all Praxis II tests required for their program and resources available to them on the ETS website.

  • Exams for fall clinical residency placements must be taken by or on July 15th of that calendar year.

  • Exams for spring clinical residency placements must be taken by or on Nov. 15th of the prior calendar year.

Visit the Praxis II website to register for the test. Information and instructions about testing centers, test registration, test center regulations, institution codes and accommodations, etc. can be found utilizing those resources.
