Academic Departments
With approximately 1000 students and 13 different disciplines in Curriculum and Teaching, we’re sure we have a program that’s right for you. We specialize in teacher preparation and teacher development at undergraduate and graduate levels.
The School of Kinesiology academics, research, and outreach focus on performance, wellness, and injury prevention, providing opportunities for our students and members of the community.
The Department of Educational Foundations, Leadership, and Technology prepares exemplary educational practitioners and develops cooperative partnerships with university departments, schools, community agencies, and business and industry to provide outstanding educators, trainers, and leaders.
Through a combination of coursework and clinical experience our academic programs in Counseling Psychology, Counselor Education, Rehabilitation and Disability Studies, and Special Education help students develop the tools they need to address psychological, social, and environmental barriers to educational achievement and personal development.
