Short Bio
Brian E. McCabe, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in Alabama, Associate Professor and Director of Practicum Training in Counseling Psychology in the Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation, and Counseling at Auburn University. He has served on the editorial board of The Counseling Psychologist since 2020. Dr. McCabe leads the Eco-developmental Prevention, Intervention, and Consultation (EPIC) Lab. His clinical research uses an eco-developmental perspective to investigate prevention and intervention strategies between risk and protective processes. Dr. McCabe has taught courses in assessment, psychotherapy practice and theory, research design and methods, and history of psychology.
