Short Bio
Brian E. McCabe, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in Alabama, Associate Professor and Director of Practicum Training in Counseling Psychology in the Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation, and Counseling at Auburn University. His research and clinical interests include prevention and intervention strategies using an eco-developmental approach, and the interactions between risk and protective processes, specifically connections between mental health, substance use, and social relationships for people in varied life stages. Dr. McCabe leads the Eco-developmental Prevention, Intervention, and Consultation (EPIC) Lab, with recent research projects for immigrants from Latin America and college students.
