Short Bio
Dr. Ryan M. Babl serves as an assistant professor in the doctor of physical therapy program in the School of Kinesiology. Babl received his Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in exercise science from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2003. He then went on to complete a Master of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2005 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2010. Babl’s primary areas of clinical practice to date has been outpatient orthopaedics, manual therapeutic interventions, aquatic physical therapy, and therapeutic exercise prescription. Babl holds board certification as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic (OCS) Physical Therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Babl earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS in 2023.
