Project SWAR
Social Studies, Writing, Art, & Reading Adventures for Elementary Students
Rising 1st-6th grade students are invited to join the excitement! Our summer sessions will promote summer learning success through integrated social studies, writing, art, and reading through project-based instruction taught by Auburn University Elementary pre-service teachers. This interdisciplinary approach will engage students in authentic, meaningful learning environments. Literacy, art, and social science skills and strategies will be integrated into this framework to address the holistic world in which we live. Students will have a blast as they explore regional cultural arts, become amateur map makers, and challenge their critical thinking skills. Participants may register for a single week or multiple weeks.
Summer 2025 registration is closed!
