Stadler departs for Roosevelt Univ. deanship
 
After 11 years of service to the College of Education, Dr. Holly Stadler, professor and department head of Counselor Education, Counseling Psychology, and School Psychology, departed for Chicago upon her appointment as dean of education at Roosevelt University.

Stadler joined the college in 1995 as professor and department following  faculty and department chair appointments in University of Missouri-Kansas City's School of Education and School of Medicine.  She began her career at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1975 as an assistant professor remained on the faculty until 1982.   A three-time Purdue University graduate, she completed a bachelor's in psychology, master's in counseling and student services, and a doctorate in counseling education, counseling and student personnel services.

Beyond service as department head, Stadler's time at Auburn included an American Council on Education fellowship at the University of Maryland during the 2004-2005 academic year.  She was awarded the President's Award of Excellence from Auburn University in 2004.
