The College of Education is pleased to announce the launch of its new and improved Web site. The site has many new features such as news stories, feature stories, outreach and research highlights, alumni and donor spotlights and faculty and staff recognition.

"We hope all visitors to our Web site will find it both interesting and entertaining," said Interim Dean Dr. Frances Kochan. "We are delighted to have the opportunity to share with you some of the great accomplishments of our students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends."

Because of the important role the Internet plays in today's technology-driven world, the College embraced the challenge of revamping its Web site to present a more thorough and dynamic view of the College, its programs and the people that comprise it.

"We know that prospective and current students use our Web site as a way to obtain information, but it also represents us to external people and groups such as our alumni, prospective faculty, peer institutions and accrediting agencies," Kochan said. "That is why we have dedicated more than a year and hundreds of hours to the development of this comprehensive and unified site."

The Auburn University College of Education hopes your visit to this site is helpful and informative. As with any project of this caliber, it is a work in progress and it will continue to grow and change along with the College.
