The Honor Roll- Honoring the Roles of Educators in Our Lives
By teaching you to read and write, a teacher opened your eyes to the world. By preparing you for your career, a professor helped you build a foundation for life. By listening to your hopes and encouraging your dreams, a professional mentor inspired you to be who you are today. Whether it was a teacher, professor or professional mentor, educators take on many different roles in building better futures for all of us.

The College of Education at Auburn University has established The Honor Roll—a permanent listing of individuals who have been recognized by current or former students, colleagues, family members or friends through a charitable contribution of $500. The Honor Roll is a fund created to honor the significant roles of educators in our lives. The names of honored educators and the individuals who honored them are prominently and permanently displayed in the College of Education. Honorees also receive a certificate suitable for framing, a lapel pin commemorating this special tribute, a location card that describes where the placement of the plaque is in Haley Center and a special memento from the college announcing their induction to The Honor Roll

Funds contributed to The Honor Roll are used to provide student scholarships, faculty support and to assist the college in enhancing its high-quality programs. Thus, your giving not only honors your special educator, it helps ensure that future educators will be well prepared.

This honor is a perfect holiday, birthday, anniversary or graduation gift and a unique way to give thanks to an educator who made a difference in your life. To receive more information about The Honor Roll please contact the College of Education at (334)844-5793 or at mbm0010@auburn.edu.
