UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS: All undergraduate students enrolled in a teacher education program are required to submit a passing score on the three components of the Basic Skills Assessments prior to Admission to Teacher Education and a passing score on the appropriate Praxis II Subject Assessment prior to Admission to Internship.
ALTERNATIVE MASTERS STUDENTS: All graduate students in alternative masters programs are required to submit a passing score on the three components of the Basic Skills Assessments and a passing score on the appropriate Praxis II Subject Assessment prior to Admission to Internship.
TRADITIONAL MASTERS STUDENTS IN ESOL, INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP, LIBRARY MEDIA, READING SPECIALIST and SCHOOL COUNSELING: All graduate students in these programs are required to submit a passing score on the appropriate Praxis II Subject Assessment prior to graduation. School Counseling students admitted to the expanded option approach must also submit a passing score on the NCE prior to being recommended for certification. ED.S. STUDENTS IN SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY: All graduate students in this program are required to submit a passing score on the appropriate Praxis II Subject Assessment prior to graduation. Please consult with your major professor regarding requirements for a National School Psychologist certificate.
