SpEd Important Dates

FALL 2012

Graduate WRITTEN Comprehensive Exams:

· On-Campus students: Friday, October 12, 2012 at 8 am to 12 noon.

· Distance Education students: Friday, Sept 28 at 10 am to Friday, Sept 12 at noon. DE students will have Sat., Sept 29 and Sun., Sept 30th as well as Sat, Oct 6th and Sun, Oct 7th to try to eliminate CONFLICTS with their proctors. Monday October 8th is Columbus Day, a holiday.

Graduate ORAL Comprehensive Exams:

· The weeks of Mon, Oct 15th thru Fri, Oct 19th and Mon, Oct 22nd thru Fri, October 26th.

SUMMER 2012

Graduate Written Comprehensive Exams:

· On-campus students: Friday, July 6th, 8 am to 12 noon

· Distance Education students: Friday, June 22nd at 10 am to Thursday, July 5th at 3 pm. DE students will have Sat, June 22nd and Sun, June 23rd as well as Sat, June 30th and Sun, July 1st to try to eliminate CONFLICTS with their proctors. July 4th is on Wednesday, so difficult to determine which weekend proctor’s might take off as a holiday.

· ALL SS will have completed their Summer 2012 Graduate WRITTEN Comprehensive Exams by Friday, July 6th by 1 pm.

Graduate Oral Comprehensive Exams: the week of Monday, July 9th through Thursday, July 12th.

Spring 2012

Graduate Written Comprehensive Exams: Friday, March 23

DE Graduate Written Comprehensive Exam window (Distance Ed students - schedule proctors): Saturday, March 17- to Friday, March 23

Fall 2011

Graduate Written Comprehensive Exams: Friday October 21 at 8 to noon

Saturday, Oct 15th to Friday, Oct 21st.
