| Minors The Department of Kinesiology offers a number of undergraduate and graduate minors, as well as a nondegree program in Physical Activity and Wellness. Sport Coaching Minor: The Sport Coaching Minor is a 16 semester hour committment and is available to all students across campus. Particularly attractive to those who are within the College of Education and wish to coach in schools upon graduation, the minor combines sports study with practicum experiences. Exercise Science Minor: The Exercise Science Minor is a 16 semester hour committment and is available to all students across campus. Particularly attractive to those who are planning to continue to medical, dental or therapy school, the minor combines study of the basic principles of exercise science with sports study with elective or laboratory experiences. Graduate Minor in Sport Management: The Graduate Minor in Sport Management is a 12 semester hour committment. This minor provides Master's degree students with the specialized knowledge of the sport industry and prepares those students to work in sport organizations as administrators and managers.
