Welcome to the Post-Certification Graduate Athletic Training Program at Auburn University!

The Masters degree in Exercise Science - Athletic Training Specialization is designed for Certified Athletic Trainers' looking for an elite program to prepare them for career opportunities in the many fields of sports medicine.  Our program combines academic, research and clinical experiences, resulting in a multifaceted learning opportunity.  Small class sizes and one-on-one faculty interactions provide students with a unique opportunity to work with nationally known professors in Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Motor Learning, Motor Control, Health Promotion and Pedagogy.  

Collaborations with East Alabama Medical Center, The Hughston Clinic, The Kenny Howard Foundation, RehabWorks Physical Rehabilitation Center, Auburn Department of Athletics, area high schools and colleges and departments across the Auburn University campus provide students with a wide range of opportunities and experiences to prepare them for future job opportunities in collegiate, high school, professional, industrial, corporate and clinical settings; or entry into a doctoral program.
