Educational Leadership

The Instructional Leadership Preparation (ILP) Masters degree is offered in partnership with 9 school districts in the State of Alabama and has recently undergone complete revision to become field-based, responding to the highest standards and utilizing the teaching resources of school districts to produce competent, committed and reflective.

The Ed.D. in Elementary and Secondary Education (AES) and Supervision and Curriculum (ASC) deepens the knowledge a practicing school leader acquires through service by expanding on the study of theoretical and empirical literature on the science of organization and the art and craft of leadership.

EFLT has received official notification from the Alabama State Department of Education that no students can begin an add-on ed. administration certificate. Anyone who is currently completing an add-on must be recommended for certification by September 1, 2008. Please make sure that anyone who is finishing up this option is aware of this information. (Added to website on: November 8, 2007).

For information on application procedures, consult the Application page. For Class AA Educational Administration certification questions, please contact the Program Coordinator.
