| M.Ed./M.S. Traditional Master's Mathematics Education Statement of Purpose
The traditional Master's of Secondary Mathematics Education degree program builds on an undergraduate degree in mathematics education to strengthen mathematics teachers' abilities and competencies to teach in the public school systems. The program is designed for students to attain their master's level (Class A) teacher certification and includes coursework which updates students' knowledge and skills in mathematics, mathematics education, and supporting areas. The master's degree is intended to help teachers develop higher levels of competence than is possible in initial certification programs. General Program Information
