| M.Ed./M.S. Traditional Master's Early Childhood Education Statement of Purpose
The Early Childhood Education Master's programs are designed to prepare students who have completed a baccalaureate program in early childhood to be better able to apply theoretical and research knowledge to practice. They are intended to help students deepen their understanding of the use of reflection to make wise decisions regarding appropriate content and pedagogy for young learners. The focus of both programs is research in constructivist theory and practice and the application of this research to practical problems in the education of young children.
