The Specialist in Education degree is designed for professional educators who wish to enhance their competence in an area of specialization. Teachers who earn a Specialist in Education are eligible for Alabama AA certificates. Coursework is designed to extend students knowledge of mathematics, mathematics education, and supporting areas.
