The Department of Curriculum and Teaching is the largest department in the College of Education at Auburn University.  Currently, approximately 1200 undergraduate students and 275 graduate students are enrolled in programs that prepare teachers and leaders in 13 areas of specialization.

Accreditation
 
All programs are accredited by the Alabama State Department of Education and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).   Music Education programs are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
