Leane B. Skinner is an associate professor of Business/Marketing Education in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching. She has been at Auburn since 1999. Prior to coming to Auburn, she worked in career and technical education for 12 years.  Dr. Skinner is coordinating the distance education graduate programs in Business Education. She also coordinates the Microsoft Office Specialist/IC³ Certification programs at Auburn University. Dr. Skinner holds Microsoft Office Specialist Certification at the expert level and is an IC³ Authorized Instructor.  Her research interests include distance learning, professional development, industry certification, and technology in education. She has conducted numerous workshops in both business and educational settings.
