The Curriculum and Teaching Department offers distance learning programs that:
 
·        allow students to balance educational objectives with career and family commitments. 
 
·         utilize live and archived streaming video as well as web-based instruction. 
 
·         schedule on-campus meetings in which students and instructors meet face-to-face.
 
·         emphasize practical applications and research in the content area.
 
·         allow graduate non-degree and students enrolled at other universities to enroll in courses.
 

·         offer distance-education versions of campus-based course offerings at Auburn University .
