The Department of Curriculum and Teaching seeks to enable teacher candidates and teachers to engage K-12 students in meaningful, minds-on learning activities, supported by technology for the purpose of enhancing student learning. When integrated effectively, educational technology supports meaningful learning and becomes an integral part of instructional practices. The commitment to technology is demonstrated by the efforts of faculty to integrate technology into professional education courses and field experiences.
