Student Organizations

Information about COUN student organizations is currently under construction.  Three student organizations are available in the Department: the Association of Counseling Psychology Students (COP), Iota Delta Sigma chapter of Chi Sigma Iota (CCA, CED, CPS), and the Student Association for School Psychology (CSP).  Please visit the Student Organizations mage for more information.

Doctoral Assistantship Information

Doctoral students may choose to apply for a departmental sponsored assistantship.  To qualify for an assistantship, you must have completed a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours and be available to work 8:00 to 4:30 p.m. daily.

Housing Opportunities

A variety of options are available in the cities of Auburn and Opelika for students to buy or lease housing.  For students who are seeking roommates, more information is also available on the bulletin board in the Graduate Student Lounge in 2011 Haley Center.
