Community Agency Counseling (CCA) - Master's Degree

The M.Ed. in CCA is a 48 credit hour full time/part time program of study accredited by CACREP. Graduates typically are employed in community mental health centers or others social service agencies. Students complete practica and internships in settings related to their career goals. The program will consider applicants with psychology, counseling, liberal arts, education, social work, criminal justice, and other general areas of study undergraduate degrees. Coursework will prepare you for the academic component for licensure/certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Program requirements include: thesis/nonthesis; portfolio; CPCE Examination. Applicants must submit an application supplement directly to the Department of Counselor Education, Counseling Psychology, and School Psychology.
