Faculty Honors & Awards
Dr. Randy Pipes received the 2008 Raymond D. Fowler Award. This award honors psychologists who have made outstanding contributions to students' professional development and is awarded by the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students based on nominations submitted by current students.
Dr. Jamie Carney received the 2006 Distinguished Professional Service Award from the Alabama Counseling Association. Dr. Carney was also presented with the 2007 Outstanding Mentor award by the Iota Delta Sigma chapter of Chi Sigma Iota.
Dr. Annette Kluck received the 2006 Texas Psychological Association Award for her dissertation research: Family factors in the development of disordered eating: Understanding the dynamic and behavioral influences of the family. Dr. Kluck also received the Bo & Sally Family Dissertation Research Award from the Texas Psychological Foundation.
Dr. Suhyun Suh, who has achieved a significant level of professional recognition, has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor with tenure effective Fall 2007
