Student Affairs Council
The College of Education recognizes the value of student organizations. The Student Affairs Council was established to encourage involvement and to ensure that students and advisors of student organizations receive support and recognition for their efforts.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Student Affairs Council is to promote collaboration among student organizations and to recognize and support student and faculty involvement in student organizations within the college.
POLICIES
- The Council meets one time each semester with additional meetings when deemed appropriate.
- The College of Education's Director of Professional Education Services and Coordinator of Student Services co-chair the Council.
- Membership includes advisors and presidents of student organizations.
- A steering committee composed of representatives from the Student Affairs Council meets periodically to act upon the recommendations of the Council.
