Partnership Council on the Education Profession
The College of Education recognizes the importance of collaborations with members of its professional community in the continuous improvement of programs that prepared teachers and other professional school personnel. The Partnership Council on the Education Profession was established as a formal system for ensuring that effective communication take place between the college and its professional partners.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Partnership Council on the Education Profession is to assure that the professional community is kept informed of critical issues and have formal opportunities to provide input and engage in discussions about program improvement.
POLICIES

The Partnership Council meets one time each semester with additional meetings when deemed appropriate. |

The

Education

's Director of Professional Education Services and the Coordinator of East Alabama Regional Inservice Center (EARIC) co-chair the Partnership Council. |

The Partnership Council includes representation from various stakeholders including representatives from the
College
of
Education
, school systems within the EARIC region, and community agencies that function as service learning sites for the college's students. |
2007-08 MEMBERSHIP
Membership of the Partnership on the Education Profession includes professionals from school systems, community agencies, and Auburn University.
